Code of Conduct

  1. I will always endeavour to provide a professional, ethical business which is governed by honourable standards.
  2. I will provide conscientious care for the children entrusted to me at all times and to place their welfare above all other business considerations.
  3. I understand that the children’s welfare, health and safety is paramount and to work with integrity at all times.
  4. I understand that it is my obligation to my clients and be honest & transparent. I will keep my profile accurate and up to date.
  5. I will respect the confidence of every customer served and treat my clients in a courteous manner.
  6. I will avoid misrepresentation of my services.
  7. I will learn more about my profession and children’s to improve my services when the opportunity arises or gaps in my knowledge and skills are identified.
  8. I will support Helper Bees, its policies and participate in its activities and community when possible.
  9. I will be respectful of, and cooperate with other professions and trades which operate within the childcare industry, in every way consistent with my other responsibilities.
  10. I will obey all applicable childcare law and legislation governing child welfare and business practices. ( Children’s Act 2006)
  11.  I will check my inbox regularly and respond to queries within 12 hours
  12.  I will update my availability regularly and honour agreements made based on the information I put out.
  13.  I will share my thoughts and feedback with Helper Bees in order to improve the service.

*Helper Bees is independent of all its members’ businesses and although they registered with us and have agreed to abide by our code of conduct we are not a policing organisation and do not accept any liability for them. Your contract is with your chosen childcare provider and therefore you should make your own enquiries and rely of your own judgment as to their credibility.
